Headquartered in Hemer, the company currently employs some 5,200 people worldwide, including 2,700 in Germany. In 2006, the company’s kitchen and bathroom fittings and showers, automatic fittings for the commercial and contract sectors, and installation and flushing systems generated sales of EUR 939 million.

GROHE has six production plants, of which three are located abroad, namely in Portugal, Thailand and Canada. The original cornerstone of the LAUFEN company is its ceramic manufacturing expertise. For more than 110 years the oldest artificial material known to mankind has been processed in Laufen, in the Swiss canton of Basel Land. There, washbasins, bidets and toilets are produced in state-of-the-art facilities with Swiss precision. This ceramics expertise has spawned a talent for creating fully integrated bathrooms. In fact market leader group with its own branches all over Europe, Novellini offers all-in-one European and German (TÜV and GS) quality standards combined with up-to-date Italian design and a true value-for-money philosophy.

The large product range includes shower enclosures and over bath screens, wet-fl oor solution, shower trays, wellness products such as completely equipped steam cubicles, baths and whirlpools, equipped shower panels.

The annual output of shower enclosures (company core business) is established on over 1,200,000 units, whereas that of wellness products reaches the 100,000 units.

The Novellini group, with its over 30 years of know-how and 190,000 square meters indoor facilities, employs today globally over 1,000 workers, who are active in the Italian head offi ces and production units such as in the European branches in France, England, Holland, Belgium, Poland, Austria and Germany.

Integration and automation are the two key-words that mark out the production cycle of the company: starting from basic commodities up to the finished products, the whole production process takes place inside the Novellini production sites, including aluminium foundry plant and extrusion units, profi les painting, grinding and tempering of glass, plastic works, assembly and packaging lines.

Assembling is performed by robots that grant a constant qualitative work and high production capacity.

Recently a brand new logistic center has been activated. With its warehouse capacity of up to 120,000 shower enclosures and over 9,000 square meters indoor facilities, it permits fully automatic storage, classification and picking of the goods.

The innovative and diffused logistic organization of Novellini group allows to warrant very fast deliveries all over the world.

High production capacity goes along with great distribution level, so as to achieve a high customer satisfaction level: our first target.

Despite the size of the company and among the uncountable solutions that nowadays the market is offering, Novellini surely locates itself as a flexible company, tendering a large range of sizes on every product range as well as the possibility to customize “made to measure” technical solutions for both private villas and apartments such as public facilities.
